Semiconductor equipment supplier Brooks Automation ( BRKS ) late Monday beat Wall Streets estimates for its fiscal fourth quarter but disappointed with its guidance.Wall Street expected Brooks Automation earnings of 38 cents a share on sales of $205 million, according to Zacks Investment Research.For the current quarter, Brooks expects to earn an adjusted 12 cents a share on sales of $175 million from continuing operations."Our 2018 fiscal year was strong from start to finish and has charted a new path with transformative M&A agreements that are reshaping the company," Chief Executive Steve Schwartz said in a news release ."These transactions strengthen our growth portfolio and extend our position as the leading provider of life science sample services.
