Oldcastle Precast, Inc. Replaces Drainage Pipe for Hazletons Broad Street Betterment Program
Summary
The precast concrete drainage pipe will effectively protect groundwater by conveying stormwater through the underground infrastructure system.The Broad Street Betterment Program, administered by Pen Dot District 4, is designed to help improve the safety of the drivers and pedestrians in the City of Hazelton.Turning lanes on Rt 93 will improve traffic flow through the downtown area and will make traveling much safer.The plan includes the construction of a large drainage project, lighting crosswalks, updated traffic signals, pavement markings and restoration of the downtown area parking spaces and sidewalks.The project should be completed by late 2013.The Broad Street Betterment Program, administered by Pen Dot District 4, is designed to help improve the safety of the drivers and pedestrians in the City of Hazelton.
