Getting in to RC Planes - RC Groups

My wife returned it and I discovered the wild world of the direct Chinese RC importers.....found a Voluntex 500mm trainer for a great price. That foam-tac works well, the xk430 is back in one piece but by this time it was apparent I needed a larger model to get the scale like RC experience I was looking for. Real nice PNP set up, bought a Flysky transmitter receiver , batteries, balance charger , lipo safe, assorted connectors etc. My plans to buddy box with someone at a legitimate flying field have been scrapped due to COVID 19. My alternate plan is to go meet with a buddy in the high desert and fly my Bigfoot and some powered gliders.
