Tapnob rolls out Nigeria’s first crypto-to-Naira gateway

Tapnob has launched what it describes as Nigeria’s first crypto-to-Naira gateway. The platform lets users receive Bitcoin or stablecoin payments and settle the equivalent amount directly into a Naira bank account. It also introduces Tapnob Addresses, which work like reusable email-style payment handles for simpler Bitcoin transfers. The service targets merchants, freelancers, remote workers, and diaspora payments while reducing wallet complexity, FX friction, and settlement delays. Tapnob also says it has strategic backing from the Human Rights Foundation’s Bitcoin Development Fund.
