Godaddy.com – Domain, E-mail, or Hosting?

And here comes the most interesting part: Everything started back in 1997 when Bob Parsons and his team were brainstorming for an easier to remember name for his company – Jomax Technologies Inc (Daddy’s predecessor). The first beautiful woman, involved in the advertising strategy was Candice Michelle, later referred as “Miss Go Daddy”. In 2006, the company began sponsoring Danica Sue Patrick, a driver in IndyCar, and another beauty was empowered. For example, if you go and buy a domain for $ 8.50, you will be offered to round up this amount for charity, and the Daddy would double the addition! Every year, the company provides millions of dollars to organizations such as the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Hope for Haiti, Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS, Make-A-Wish, the Arizona Humane Society, the Child Crisis Center of Arizona and the Salvation Army.
