Zugata Raises $7M in Series A Funding

Zugata, a Palo Alto, CA-based employee performance platform, raised $7m in Series A funding.The round was led by Canaan Partners with participation from General Catalyst and Redpoint Ventures.The company intends to use the funds to develop new products and to build sales and marketing teams.Led by CEO Srinivas Krishnamurti, Zugata provides a mobile-first solution for employees to receive continuous feedback from the people they work with, along with personalized development resources.More than 500 organizations of all sizes – from startups to publicly traded companies including Lyft, Gusto, Gainsight and Enjoy – have used Zugata since the company emerged from stealth 12 months ago.
