Employment Hero moved into the Asian market last October and now operates in in New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Malaysia and Singapore. CEO and co-founder Ben Thompson said: “This latest round of funding will enable us to bolster our brilliant team and accelerate our innovation timelines with the ultimate goal of simplifying employment for SMEs all around the world.” Insight Partners has backed more than 100 startups, including Twitter, Tumblr, Delivery Hero, HelloFresh and Pluralsight, which recently spent $2 billion acquiring Melbourne startup A Cloud Guru.
