New funding rounds were recently announced by software ventures GitLab, Kenna Security, Beyond Pricing and Sentry, according to company database Crunchbase. GitLab topped the citys recent funding headlines by announcing a $268 million Series E round on Sept. 12, led by Goldman Sachs. The platform includes Git repository management, code reviews, issue tracking, wikis and more, along with a continuous integration and deployment tool called GitLab CI. Kenna leverages Cyber Risk Context Technology to track and predict real-world exploitations, focusing security teams on what matters most. Sentry’s cloud service supports more than 9,000 customers, monitoring tens of billions of exceptions every month from the most popular apps and websites, including Airbnb, PayPal, Twitter, Microsoft, Uber, Pinterest, HubSpot and The New York Times.
