The $678K grant, awarded through the Foundation’s Data & Computational Research program, will be used to expand our efforts in software peer review. We will also be building more tools to test and measure code quality, flag areas for reviewers and authors to focus on. Our project has received five previous awards from the foundation, including the initial grant that led to the formation of rOpenSci as an organization.
