Gooee Raises $8M in Funding

Gooee, a St. Petersburg, Fla-based enterprise Internet of Things (IoT) platform designed for the LED lighting sector, raised $8m in debt financing.Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) provided the financing.The company intends to use the funds for the continued development of the platform, which is estimated to launch at the beginning of 2017.Led by Andrew Johnson, CEO, Simon Coombes, CTO, Gooee provides a suite of hardware and software components that lighting companies can both integrate into their own products and connect them to the Gooee Cloud to offer their customers services – such as Lighting Control, Energy Management, LED Analytics and Beacon Management – across a multitude of vertical markets.FinSMEs 26/09/2016
