Flock Raises $3.5m in Series A Financing

Flock, a San Francisco, CA-based all-in-one software platform to manage human resources (HR), benefits, and compliance, raised $3.5m in Series A financing.The round was led by The Hartford with participation from existing investors.The company intends to use the funds to accelerate market expansion and ongoing development of its edge HR and benefits administration platform.Led by CEO and Founder Raj Singh, Flock supports small-to-midsize employers by connecting insurance carriers, payroll providers, applicant tracking modules, and other systems through the various stages of the employee lifecycle, from hire to retire.Capabilities include onboarding, background checks, people management, benefits enrollment, payroll integration, and off-boarding.
