SeatGeek Raises $57M in Series D Funding; Acquires TopTix, for $56M

TopTix will bring to SeatGeek its its engineering team and its ticketing, fundraising and customer relationship management platform, which has been provided to more than 500 institutions processing 80 million tickets a year in 16 countries across the globe.Current clients, which will now be clients of SeatGeek, range from museums and theaters to festivals and sports teams, including organizations such as the Royal Dutch Football Association, Ravinia Festival, and multiple English soccer clubs.TopTix Co-Founder, Eli Dagan, will continue to lead the core engineering team in Israel.TopTix will operate as a subsidiary of SeatGeek, continuing to service clients across the globe.With the addition of the TopTix engineering and business leadership teams, SeatGeek is now comprised of more than 250 employees, located in nine offices across six countries.
