MileIQ Raises $3M in Seed Financing

MileIQ, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of a smart mileage-tracking technology, raised $3M in seed financing.Backers included CRV, SV Angel and Marc Benioff (Salesforce) and others.Led by Chuck Dietrich, co-founder and CEO, MileIQ provides a smart mileage tracking platform for “self-directed” workforce of realtors, sales reps, freelancers and business owners to collect substantial deductions and reimbursements.Its smartphone app automatically captures every mile users drive without taxing battery life or requiring any interaction and automates much of the classification and calculation of drives.It integrates with FreshBooks, Concur, and other accounting, expense and tax platforms.
