Impraise Raises $1.6M in Seed Funding

Impraise Inc., a NYC-based provider of an app for feedback between co-workers, raised $1.6m in seed funding.Backers included Palm Drive Ventures, China Growth Capital and HenQ.The company intends to use the funds to grow the team and further improve the product experience for clients.Led by CEO Bas Kohnke and co-founder and Chief Growth Officer Steffen Maier, Impraise provides a web and mobile app that allows co-workers to share actionable feedback after meetings or projects, or frequently on a monthly basis, also enabling social recognition and peer coaching.Since launching in late 2014, over 300,000 feedback interactions have taken place on the platform.
