Framer Raises $27M in Series C Funding

Framer, an Amsterdam, The Netherlands-based provider of a next gen web design platform, raised 27m in Series C funding. The company intends to use the funds to further scale up product and commercial teams, especially in Europe and the US. Co-founded by Koen Bok and Jorn van Dijk, Framer provides an AI powered web design platform to build professional sites delivering best-in-class SEO, performance, and hosting. Companies like messagebird.com, superhuman.com, twingate.com, and whereby.com used the system to build their entire web presence. The company is now working on new features for larger sites, from localization, which will make it easier than ever for businesses to adapt and customize their web presence for global audiences, to custom forms and additional enterprise-level integrations.
