United Bus Technology Raises $4M In Series A Funding

United Bus Technology (UBT), a McLean, Va.-based IT solution provider company for the motorcoach industry, raised $4m in Series A funding round.The company intends to use the funds to expand its research capabilities and technical team to further drive products and services.Founded in January by Tony Wei, CEO, UBT is committed to providing innovative IT solutions for bus operators.Its flagship product, NetBox, deployed to nearly 50 companies in the motorcoach industry, provides high-speed Internet with MegaWifi, vast movie streaming system with OnCoach Cinema®, and a GPS-based fleet management solution MegaTrac®.The company also offers many other customer-tailored services such as eLog, IFTA reporting, cloud-based ticketing and reservation, which is operated by its partner, iLIKEBUS.com, and onsite passenger check-in.
